Free Kids’ Pack at A&W This Halloween

This Halloween, go trick-or-treat at A&W, and any little monster 12 and under can get a Kids’ Pack–absolutely free! No tricks, just treats! A&W Canada is offering families a spooktacular way to celebrate Halloween! On October 31st, children 12 and under can enjoy a their choice of a Chicken Buddy Burger, Chicken Strips, Buddy Burger, or Buddy Burger with Cheese, along with fresh apple slices, a MadeGood granola bar, and a 2% milk. For some reason, the hot dog is not listed as one of the free option in A&W’s news release. Note that you have to go to a restaurant. It won’t work at a shopping centre counter, on the mobile app, or by using third-party delivery services – but – if you make it there, there is no purchase necessary! Around here, the Buddy Burger’s Kids Pack goes for $6.79 while the three others are going for $7.89.…

I showed up for my lunch meeting at the 3 Brewers, as suggested by Richard. The place was busy but not overcrowded. The server informed us that unfortunately, they were down a deep fryer and that some items were not available, specifically the fish and chips – no fish frying today in order to avoid cross-contamination to protect their fish-allergic customers. I was totally taken aback by the news because, obviously, the Fish and Chips is totally what one should get at a French Brewery. I peered at the menu carefully. I regularly get the Flammekueche, but I didn’t feel like it today. I considered the Cassoulet, but thought it would be too heavy. I ignored the Burgers and the Poutine section, because as usual I was focused on my health. Our server came back to take our orders. I selected the Santa Fe Chicken, a salad with Grilled chicken,…
